This performance camshaft package is intended for installation by a qualified engine builder, certified machinist, or automotive technician experienced with 6.4L Apache HEMI valvetrain systems and variable cam timing.

A compatible phaser limiter or phaser lock is required and is not included. Engine calibration may also be necessary after installation.

Non-MDS Configuration Notice

This package includes premium non-MDS hydraulic roller lifters. It is intended for compatible non-MDS engine configurations or MDS-delete builds.

The supplied product information does not indicate that MDS block-off plugs, timing components, pushrods, tuning devices, or additional MDS-delete hardware are included.

Recommended Inspection Procedures

• Inspect the camshaft bearings before installation.
• Inspect rocker arms, rocker shafts, pushrods, and valve tips.
• Verify piston-to-valve clearance.
• Verify pushrod length and valvetrain geometry.
• Inspect timing chain, guides, tensioner, sprockets, and phaser.
• Confirm the correct phaser limiter or phaser lock before final assembly.
• Clean all engine oil passages thoroughly.
• Remove debris from previous camshaft or lifter failures.
• Prime the lubrication system before initial startup.
• Verify engine oil pressure before placing the engine into service.
• Follow COMP Cams installation procedures and factory torque specifications.
• Use fresh engine oil and a new oil filter after assembly.
