• Remove all metallic debris from any previous camshaft or lifter failure.
• Prime the lubrication system before initial startup.
• Verify proper engine oil pressure before returning the vehicle to service.
• Follow the COMP Cams installation instructions and factory torque procedures.
• Use new engine oil and a new oil filter after assembly.
